(Lima).- On December 11 and 12 , in Lima, Perú, the PGS 2024 Forum will bring together leaders and regulators, led by Yuri Guerra Padilla, General Director of Gaming of Mincetur, to analyse the scope of the new law and its regulations.

PGS 2024 Forum: Regulators and Leaders to Detail New Gaming Law on December 11-12 in Peru

In Peru, Law 31557, as amended by Law 31806, was published in August 2022. In October 2023, Supreme Decree DS 005-2023 was published, approving the regulations governing the provisions issued in Law 31557 on remote gaming and remote sports betting. From that moment on, companies operating in the Peruvian market were obliged to adapt to the current regulatory framework.

After more than 15 months, PGS has seen fit to hold an exclusive forum to discuss the current status of the processes involved in such adaptation. To this end, the staff of the regulatory Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR in its Spanish Original), led by Mr. Yuri Guerra Padilla, General Director of Gaming, has been summoned to the PGS 2024 Forum on 11 and 12 December to explain the scope of the approved law and regulations.

This is the first time that the highest representatives of the General Directorate of Casinos and Slot Machines of Mincetur will be present in front of an exclusive audience made up of business owners, CEO, General Manager, Managers and Compliance Officer, to explain the processes and scope of the Law and its regulations.

It is a unique opportunity for decision- makers to learn from a direct source all the details required by the regulation. PGS is always at the forefront of current issues identifying the latest developments that mark the destinies of the industry, being its objective to disseminate knowledge to professionalize the sector. This call has particular exclusivity as it has been coordinated in corporate mode with the industry associations such as APADELA, SONAJA, ATCE, in this scheme, the support of the General Directorate of Games of Mincetur was crucial.

Due to the characteristics of the organisation of the Forum, admission to the Forum will be by invitation only, based on the list sent by the associations.
